Morsels Wins Desserts Uncorked 2009!!

On Tuesday, April 21st, at the City Opera House in Traverse City, the Girl Scouts held the 1st annual Desserts Uncorked baking competition. It was a fundraiser for the organization with local chefs competing by creating a unique dessert out of and featuring girl scout cookies. Morsels created the Short & Sweet morsel made from the shortbread Trefoil cookie and the chocolate, caramel, and coconut Samoa cookie. The judges voted it the best dessert of the evening and Morsels took home the trophy. Short & Sweet morsels will be available for a very limited time at Morsels' retail store at the corner of Front and Cass, downtown Traverse City.
