I'm a Coastie wife, raised in Michigan, schooled in Wisconsin, and influenced by the many places we've lived, from Kodiak to Cape Cod. I prefer to grow my own, involving our three girls in the process every step of the way. Now I have all kinds of help in the kitchen! I'm open to everything, but I hunger for life from scratch. Sometimes it's quite a challenge with moving so much, but I do what I can do with whatever I have.
