Beyond the Dog, Camp Food
The lack of readily available info on campfire food beyond burgers and dogs inspired some creative thinking. . .
Hi everyone! I have been cooking as long as I can remember, from my days as a toddler in the yard making "salads" and mudpie cakes. Cooking is still a great joy for me. Professionally speaking, I received culinary arts training at Schoolcraft, and operated a business as a wedding cake designer in the TC area for several years. The business was successful but the wedding season is so limited here that I decided against trying to turn it into a year-round venture. So, my cooking is now just for fun! I have a B.A. in journalism from Michigan State University, with a minor in graphic design. I have been a professional writer, editor, and technical illustrator for over 15 years.
